Responsibilities- Teach "Advanced Resistance Training Techniques" (KINE 361) in a face-to-face mode on the Science and Technology campus in Manassas, VA.
- Provide instructional and mentoring support from faculty.
- Facilitate quality instruction and responsive feedback to guide student growth.
- Master's or doctorate degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or an equivalent major.
- Experience and expertise in coaching advanced resistance training techniques, including Olympic lifts, plyometrics, speed and agility drills, and strength training tailored for sports and athletics.
- Proficiency in creating resistance training workouts to enhance strength, power, speed, and overall conditioning for a diverse range of clients.
- Ability to recognize and address improper execution of both lower and upper body anaerobic training movements, ensuring correct form and technique.
- Knowledge of appropriate evidence-based tests and protocols to assess and track progress in strength and conditioning.
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
- University teaching experience.
- Knowledge of Blackboard, Canvas or other learning management systems.
- Evidence of successful teaching a similar course.
