We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Test Design team at Anduril Industries. As a leader in the development of advanced test systems, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering test systems for electronic products, ensuring their quality, reliability, and performance.

Our Electrical Test Engineering team develops test systems used to ensure the quality and reliability of our aerial and ground-based systems. We work on air vehicles such as Roadrunner, Ghost, Anvil, and Fury, and develop complex manufacturing test solutions for our internal manufacturing team or contract manufacturers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering turn-key test solutions for electronic components and systems, with a background in hardware, software, integration, and sustainment. Additionally, experience with scripting languages (C/C++, C#, Python, MATLAB), computer hardware communication bus protocols (USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, serial comms), and peripherals is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement test strategies to optimize product safety, reliability, risk mitigation, FMEA coverage, and schedule.
  2. Design and execute PCBA and electrical system component testing with hands-on testing and rework as necessary.
  3. Data analysis and clear communication of results, collaboration with design engineers to resolve product problems found via test.
  4. Design and implement next-generation test automation hardware systems to facilitate fast and repeatable testing of products.
  5. Manage purchasing, build, integration, and final commissioning of functional testers.
  6. Develop test procedures and test automation from component level to system level.
  7. Support board bring-up and bench validation as needed.
  8. Support Design Engineer with DFT, provide feedback from test results to improve quality and test coverage.
