Finish Carpenter

Job Summary:
Ohio Basement Authority, A Groundworks Company, is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to lead production projects involving metal stud framing, drywall installation, painting, and other carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related field leadership and installation, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead production projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Assess job conditions, plan time allotment, and assign tasks to team members.
• Install and provide solutions that meet customers' needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate tasks, assign duties, and monitor project progress to keep it on track regarding time and budget.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of construction-related field leadership and installation experience.
• A valid driver's license and driving record that meets company standards.
• Knowledge of carpentry and ability to operate equipment and/or power tools.
• Strong organization and time-management skills, excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift heavy objects and/or up to 50 lbs., walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor.
• Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
• Excellent stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
