Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

HealthCare Support is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:
  • Fills prescription items, packages medications, and meets accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
  • Participates in periodic inventory of the pharmacy.
  • May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves, and remove out-of-date items.
  • Prepares medications, including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • May process returned medications for credit or destruction.
  • Assists in training new employees.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned, such as working in the Controlled Drugs Room or managing inventory functions.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology.
  • Ability to operate a computer and recognize medications.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and effective communication skills.
  • Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a specialty pharmacy setting.
