Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst I to join our team at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing current operational functions and implementing improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract data from multiple systems and departments using various data manipulation and extraction techniques.
  • Perform research and analyze reports, creating statistical models for presentation and review.
  • Summarize findings and communicate results to management.
  • Identify operational inadequacies and use various skills and resources to retool processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Four (4) years of job-related work experience or Associate's degree and 2 years of job-related work experience.
  • Microsoft Office skills and ability to acquire programming skills across various software platforms.
  • Good organizational, customer service, communications, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Electronic enrollment experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
