Job Summary

Drive for BFS, the leading supplier of building materials, value-added components, and building services to the professional market. As a CDL Driver-Class A, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering materials to customer sites while adhering to driver safety and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and secure products, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicles
  • Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties, including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage, and locations of deliveries
  • Act as a customer service liaison between the company and site customers, handling concerns and resolving issues as they arise
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles, performing routine safety checks to ensure compliance with company guidelines
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 21+ years old
  • Valid driver's license and Class A CDL license
  • Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience
  • 2 years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred
Work Environment

The physical demands of this job include lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds frequently and occasionally lifting and carrying up to 200 pounds with assistance. You must be able to physically operate delivery vehicles, climb up and down into the cab, twist your torso for 360-degree visibility, and use your arms to operate controls.
