Homeless Health Care Los Angeles (HHCLA) is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides comprehensive behavioral health and holistic health care to address the unique challenges of people who are experiencing homelessness.

We are driven by socially conscious Angelenos who are dedicated to improving the quality of life and capacity for stability of the people we serve. Our continuum of services includes counseling, substance use treatment, syringe exchange, overdose prevention, and housing with supportive services.

Job Description:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities, such as changing light bulbs and batteries, and notify management of need for repairs.
  • Collaborate with HHCLA's Facilities Team regarding major plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other repair needs.
  • Implement harm reduction, trauma-informed care, housing first, and integrated care interventions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid California driver's license and insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
