Echo Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Echo Technologist to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform and process M-Mode, Two-dimensional, Color Flow, and Doppler Echocardiograms, as well as assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
- Maintain, compile, calculate, and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members regarding findings, patient histories, and test results.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Adult Echocardiography preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Natural Science, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent college hours.
- Current Ultrasound registry required.
- Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support from a provider approved by the American Heart Association.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
HCA Florida Northside Hospital is a 280+ bed facility offering state-of-the-art treatment and care to our patients. We are located in the heart of South Pinellas County, minutes from the pristine Gulf Coast beaches and downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Our facility offers a full range of services, including interventional stroke care, spine care, orthopedics, 24-hour emergency services, cardiac care, and general surgery.
