Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to automated equipment, including motors, wiring configurations, electrical schematics, control circuits, and distribution systems.
  • Utilize working knowledge to diagnose and repair complex issues, including conveyor systems, PLCs, photo-eyes, relays, and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues across all operations facilities.
  • Track and store department inventory, ensuring accurate records and efficient supply chain management.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of basic mechanical experience with equipment.
  • Conveyor experience preferred.
  • Millwright/manufacturing/conveyor experience preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication.
  • 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
  • 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
  • Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands. They will be required to lift parts and tools weighing up to 49 pounds and work in small spaces with dust, fumes, and odors.
