OR Circulating Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OR Circulating Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Global - Healthcare. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and maintain the highest standards of surgical services.

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust the nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Perform focused assessments and reassessments, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general patient populations.
• Exhibit cooperation and positive attitude towards other hospital departments.
• Serve as a professional member of the Surgical Services team.
• Communicate questions about appropriateness of medical or nursing care through the chain of command as needed.
• Perform treatments and procedures as directed, within individual training and capabilities, including diagnostic exams and procedures.
• Prepare the surgical suite for procedures, adhering to AORN Standards and hospital policy.
• Ensure safe care of all patients during their stay in the OR, following AORN standards and hospital policy.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment used in the surgical services department.
• Document medications and nursing care in a timely and accurate manner in the E.H.R.

• Must be currently active and have a valid State License.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room setting is required.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with holiday coverage required.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system is necessary.

• An estimated salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
