Job Summary

City Thrift Tupelo,MS #123 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandise Processing Associate to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and preparation of merchandise for sale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading merchandise from carts and storage areas
  • Inspecting and classifying merchandise based on quality and condition
  • Cleaning and preparing merchandise for display
  • Sorting and pricing merchandise
  • Tagging and rolling merchandise to the sales floor
  • Consolidating merchandise and operating baling equipment
  • Preparing merchandise for shipping
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet production quotas
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Flexibility with schedule based on store needs
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to periodic temperature fluctuations
  • Exposure to dust
  • May be required to perform in an alternate role at the request of the supervisor
