Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of projects within your area of responsibility, including pre-construction planning, project execution, and day-to-day operations.
  • Develop project assignments, timetables, and responsibilities for team members, and ensure that project documents are controlled in accordance with contract requirements and client standards.
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required, and manage risks and execute project recovery plans when necessary.
  • Oversee project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques, and ensure that subcontractors understand project expectations.
  • Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors, and coordinate with your supervisor for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or associate degree with relevant experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct project management experience in construction, preferably with experience managing MEP projects.
  • Advanced working knowledge of project scheduling and documentation techniques and processes, and proficiency in Project Management software and financial accounting systems.
  • Strong personal computer working capabilities in MS Office, and working knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, and other management applications.
