Job Description

Ladgov Corporation is seeking an experienced Provider Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all records received, initiating the credentialing and privileging process for new providers, and maintaining custody of all credentialing materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and verifying all aspects of the credentialing process for healthcare practitioners in a health care-related facility.
  • Answering inquiries regarding providers' credential status and working with colleagues to ensure the accuracy of all files by tracking the expiration of licenses and certifications.
  • Validating the accuracy and completeness of all records received and ensuring all new initial provider applications are complete.
  • Maintaining custody of all credentialing materials via the Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS).
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify process changes and receive medical documentation while maintaining HIPPA compliance throughout routing to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years practical experience in provider credentialing and privileging.
  • Experience and knowledge of Army and National Guard Bureau regulations and policies relating to provider credentialing and privileging, and utilizing the Defense Health Agency's Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS) is preferred.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
