Job Summary:
This position is responsible for delivering exceptional adult education instruction to participants in our adult literacy and digital literacy program. The position coaches adult learners using digital learning tools, manages our computer lab and online learning platforms, develops digital literacy curriculum and materials, and may oversee volunteers engaged in the program.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach specialized group class sessions on digital literacy, including use of hardware, software, and online learning platforms. Manage a multi-level online learning environment combined with in-person coaching and coordination of a computer lab for use by students. Advise adult learners on free or affordable options for home internet service and assist with securing such services. Develop and adapt curriculum and course objectives into lesson plans aligned with students' goals. Monitor, record, and evaluate the progress of program participants. Maintain student attendance and achievement records. Communicate with program participants and partners regularly to increase retention and completion rates.

Requirements:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, graphic design, or related discipline. Minimum of four years of experience in use of and training in computer hardware and software. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google. Strong knowledge of, experience with, and skills in using and training on the use of computer hardware and software. Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and underserved populations, aligning with the agency's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Must have reliable transportation.
