Job Summary

Boise Cascade Company, a leading manufacturer of wood products and distributor of building materials, is seeking a skilled Millwork Fabricator to join our team. As a Millwork Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing doors and windows to order, ensuring accurate product and raw material specifications, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct doors and windows to order, adhering to specifications and quality standards
  • Check product and raw material specifications, including lengths and angles
  • Set up machinery and equipment to specifications, ensuring efficient production
  • Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment, and storage areas
  • Load and unload inventory as needed, maintaining accurate records
  • Apply mathematical calculations and concepts, including fractions, decimals, and percentages, to ensure accurate production
  • Manage and report on production, quality, and order fulfillment processes and performance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Train, assign, and oversee work of others, ensuring tasks are completed to order specifications
  • Collaborate with location managers and sales teams to promote and describe fabrication processes to customers
  • Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory, materials order replenishment, and product pricing
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to understand and communicate safety and work-related instructions
  • Alertness and ability to adapt to warehouse routines
  • Physical exertion in a warehouse operations environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • More than three years of experience in a related job function
  • Technical certification or associate's degree
