Boise Cascade Company, a leading manufacturer of wood products and distributor of building materials, is seeking a skilled Millwork Fabricator to join our team. As a Millwork Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing doors and windows to order, ensuring accurate product and raw material specifications, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Construct doors and windows to order, adhering to specifications and quality standards
- Check product and raw material specifications, including lengths and angles
- Set up machinery and equipment to specifications, ensuring efficient production
- Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment, and storage areas
- Load and unload inventory as needed, maintaining accurate records
- Apply mathematical calculations and concepts, including fractions, decimals, and percentages, to ensure accurate production
- Manage and report on production, quality, and order fulfillment processes and performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Train, assign, and oversee work of others, ensuring tasks are completed to order specifications
- Collaborate with location managers and sales teams to promote and describe fabrication processes to customers
- Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory, materials order replenishment, and product pricing
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to understand and communicate safety and work-related instructions
- Alertness and ability to adapt to warehouse routines
- Physical exertion in a warehouse operations environment
- More than three years of experience in a related job function
- Technical certification or associate's degree
- Competitive Pay - $18-$20/hr.
