Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced acute hospital setting. This includes procedures such as abdominal, obstetric, and small parts imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, including obstetric and small parts imaging
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including the Canon i700
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Active ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), and Vascular Technology (RVT)
  • AHA certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Ability to work 40-hour shifts and participate in call rotations
