Falls of Neuse Management LLC is seeking a qualified Material Handler/Cylinder Maintenance professional to join our operational team. This role is crucial in our gas cylinder production and distribution processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product integrity through composition analysis and quality assurance testing. This includes routine inspections, calibrations, and repairs of measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of gas cylinders to identify surface imperfections and assess wall thickness.
  • Efficiently transport gas cylinders from storage to testing stations.
  • Calibrate and fine-tune ultrasonic testing devices to meet established standards.
  • Analyze and interpret testing results in accordance with compliance regulations.
  • Accurately document test outcomes, cylinder identification numbers, and testing dates.
  • Mark cylinders with testing dates and labels post-evaluation.
  • Remove defective cylinders from circulation until necessary repairs are completed.
  • Maintain and service ultrasonic testing apparatus as required.
  • Utilize computer systems and relevant machinery for testing procedures.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Technical proficiency in relevant equipment.
  • Competence in computer operations.
