Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at HealthPro Heritage, LLC. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation team.
Responsibilities- Provide Physical Therapy Treatments: Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Assist with Patient Care: Observe, record, and report patient conditions, reactions, and responses to assigned duties.
- Document Patient Progress: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress notes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Assist Physical Therapists in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Contribute to Department Operations: Assist with the care of the physical therapy department and equipment, and participate in in-service programs and meetings as assigned.
- Continuing Education: Access continuing education opportunities to maintain clinical currency and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Compliance and Quality: Adhere to facility policies and procedures, and participate in quality improvement and safety programs.
- Education: Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Licensure: Current license or eligibility for licensure under state statutes.
- Experience: Prefer experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to understand and follow directions.
