We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Float Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- To interpret physician referrals, complete musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations, and establish a plan of care based on evaluation results and functional goals.
- To implement individualized treatment plans, monitor outcomes, and adjust treatment as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve shared goals and provide exceptional patient experiences.
- To maintain accurate and timely documentation, including patient evaluations, progress notes, team conference reports, and discharge summaries, adhering to departmental policies and accreditation standards.
- To participate in performance improvement activities, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to quality initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school or equivalent educational requirements.
- A valid Physical Therapy License in the State of Illinois or Wisconsin, depending on the assigned location.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull with 30 lbs. of force, and perform repetitive hand movements.
The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), pet insurance, wellness programs, mileage reimbursement, employee assistance programs, and a sign-on bonus.
