At Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at a Plasma Donation Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth collection of plasma from donors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy and customer service, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for greeting donors, performing phlebotomy procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy procedures on donors, including venipuncture and cannulation
- Greet donors and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including the proper disposal of biohazardous materials
- Stock supplies and assist with the setup and operation of plasmapheresis equipment
- Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
