As a Respiratory Therapist with TotalMed Staffing, you will play a crucial role in improving respiratory health outcomes for patients with breathing disorders. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Monitor patients' respiratory status, vital signs, and response to therapy, adjusting treatment as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans for optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • CRT and RRT certifications
  • BLS certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required)
  • Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
