About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Huron Valley PACE. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of meals to our participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute therapeutic and mechanically altered diets as part of participant treatment plans.
  • Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
  • Practice food temperature safety zones and limits for both hot and cold foods.
  • Label, date, seal, and store food.
  • Wash pots, pans, and dishes as part of the daily routine.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
  • Replenish nutritional supplement stock.
  • Assist with Food Pantry operations as needed.
  • Document food and supplement deliveries.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year working with the frail and elderly.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience in institutional food service preferred.
  • CPR certification or willingness to be certified.
