About the Role:

Cafe Rio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our restaurant, overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including inventory, scheduling, and customer service
  • Lead and develop a team of employees, providing coaching and training to ensure high performance
  • Implement and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and customer engagement

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Proof of valid driver's license
  • Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8 plus hours
  • 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry managing a team of 15 or more employees
  • Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse employees and customers
