  • Meet and Greet Customers: Provide exceptional customer service by meeting and greeting customers, assisting with the application process, and navigating through the self-service lobby.
  • Bi-Lingual Support: Provide bi-lingual support (English/Spanish) to customers, ensuring that all individuals have access to our services.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that lobby equipment, such as copiers, phones, and fax machines, are operational and available to customers throughout the day.
  • General Inquiry Support: Answer general inquiry questions related to program requirements, application processing, case status, and benefit information.
  • Customer Data Collection: Log customers into our computer-based system for data collection and customer service resolution, following established procedures to escalate complex customer inquiries.
  • Community Resource Referrals: Educate customers on community partners and the benefits of our ACCESS Account, including account setup and password resets.
  • EBT ACCESS Card Support: Resolve Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) ACCESS card issues, including personal identification number (PIN) unlocks.
  • Client Registration Clearances: Complete client registration clearances (CRAD) as needed.
  • Public Assistance Program Support: Conduct abbreviated interviews for the purpose of collecting and updating required information on applicants and recipients and their household members for all public assistance programs.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that electronic case records are documented thoroughly and properly, and take corrective action on identified errors through our quality management system.
Requirements
  • Effective Communication: Possess knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication, including office procedures and practices.
  • Public Interaction: Ability to deal with the public in a tactful, courteous, and effective manner, speak clearly and correctly, and listen effectively.
  • Data Management: Record and evaluate data relating to applicant employment or assistance for health care or community services.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to applicant employment or assistance for health care or community services.
  • Organizational Skills: Plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
