About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to provide personalized service and support, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate a cash register, scan items, and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Support inventory accuracy and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Participate in daily service processes, including register balancing and cash handling.
  • Act with integrity and honesty, and foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills, and take initiative to resolve customer issues.
  • Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines, and maintain adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • No prior retail experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older and have flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to perform the accountabilities listed above.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs.
  • Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
  • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
  • Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
  • Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
  • Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
