Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for performing merchandising activities, constructing displays, and stocking our products in retail accounts as requested by our sales teams or retail customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Display Management: Build and maintain visually appealing displays and point-of-sale materials in assigned retail accounts to effectively showcase our products.
  • Product Stocking: Ensure that all company products are properly stocked and displayed on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as needed.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with retail customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Communication: Collaborate with sales teams and retail customers to communicate product information, promotions, and sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a related field, such as retail sales, merchandising, or customer service.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions

The Merchandiser will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 56 pounds and stand for long periods. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are also required.
