Adecco is collaborating with a local client to recruit for Warehouse Material Handler positions. This role is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

As a Material Handler, your primary duties will include:

  • Loading and unloading items from transportation vehicles.
  • Transporting products/materials that are packed on pallets or in crates throughout the storage facility.
  • Organizing products in designated storage areas while adhering to inventory management guidelines.
  • Coordinating with supervisors to ensure daily tasks are accomplished efficiently.
  • Assisting with kitting operations as needed.
  • Managing the stacking of empty pallets.
  • Operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down clamp, stand-up reach, and cherry picker.
  • Demonstrating at least one year of recent forklift operation experience, supported by two references.
  • Achieving a passing score on the forklift assessment.
  • Being capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Material Handler role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of shipping, receiving, and logistics processes.
  • High attention to detail to ensure safety and prevent injuries.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience operating a forklift.
  • Certification for operating sit-down clamp, stand-up reach, and cherry picker forklifts.
Compensation and Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

  • Weekly pay schedule – receive your paycheck every week.
  • Casual work environment with relaxed dress code.
  • Standard working hours from 6 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
