Job Summary:
MedAdventures is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in the Coventry, RI area. As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various orthopedic conditions.
Responsibilities:
Screen and evaluate patients to determine the need for physical therapy
Establish individualized treatment programs with consultation to facility staff
Provide results of evaluations and treatment objectives to caregivers, family members, and residents
Complete all documentation as required by the fiscal intermediary, within the designated time frame
Implement treatment programs based on evaluative results
Monitor patient response to treatment and alter treatment plans as necessary
Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university
Current and valid license granted from the state of employment
Previous experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred, but not required
