Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed team at Summit Recruiting Group LLC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-time, permanent position within a supportive team of healthcare professionals.
  • Engage with a diverse patient population, averaging 7-8 patients per provider during shifts.
  • Participate in a structured call schedule, with opportunities for additional shifts and compensation.
  • Contribute to a 21-bed inpatient unit, providing care to adult patients (ages 18 and up).
  • Utilize a fully integrated electronic medical record system to enhance care coordination.
  • Collaborate with an onsite Psychiatrist, case managers, and counselors to deliver comprehensive mental health services.

Work Schedule:
  • Standard shifts are 8 hours, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Equitable holiday rotation and flexible scheduling options available.
  • Participate in a call rotation of 1-2 nights per week and every fourth weekend.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a Certified Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner.
  • Preference for candidates with prior inpatient mental health experience.
  • Ability to maintain an unrestricted license to practice in the relevant state.
  • Current authority to prescribe and administer medications.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
