Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Specialist

Norman Regional Health System is a leading community hospital system in the Oklahoma City metro area, offering an innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team and contribute to the expansion of our cardiovascular services.
We operate in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care.
The American College of Cardiology has recognized us with various awards, including Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Job SummaryThis role involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and providing patient care. The successful candidate will establish and maintain a sterile environment, serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within six months.
A competitive salary is offered, ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A completed 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) maintenance through re-training for duration of employment.
- ACLS training achieved within six months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
