Job Title: Kurdish Linguist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Kurdish Linguist to join our team at SOS International LLC. The successful candidate will possess excellent language skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and translate various forms of communication, including oral and electronic intercepts.
• Provide accurate and timely summaries of intercepted communication in English.
• Operate equipment, including recording and playback equipment, televisions, computers, and digital systems.
• Prepare summaries and reports, including hand-written and typed documents.
• Enter summaries into digital media and sign all documents as required.
• Validate transcripts and translations to ensure accuracy and quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of combined work and educational experience.
• Excellent command of the English language and Kurdish language skills.
• Ability to comprehend slang and colloquial expressions in Kurdish and translate them into English.
• Minimum 40 wpm typing/word processing skills.
• Secret level security clearance.
