Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Lead to join our Truss Shop team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the assembly team to meet daily, weekly, and project production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and assign work tasks among the assembly team to ensure efficient production.
  • Perform job tracking and reporting to oversee the efficiency and output of the assembly team.
  • Train new assembly employees in component assembly work, including assembly techniques, tool usage, and safety guidelines.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying product models and production requirements.
  • Assemble and fasten parts together using various methods.
  • Remove defective products as needed and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Tend to machines and equipment to perform force fitting and fastening operations.
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of component assembly experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior carpentry or manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Work Environment

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and extreme temperatures.
