Maternity Nurse Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Nurse to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a Maternity Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care to patients with varying medical needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and progress in medical records

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • At least one year of nursing experience
