Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Parts Counter Sales Person to join our dynamic team at Kahlig Auto Group. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for purchasing, selling, storing, and issuing parts to customers and internal staff.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, disability, 401(k), paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and a wellness program.

Responsibilities:

  1. Determine customer needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
  2. Create and modify purchase orders
  3. Issue purchase orders to vendors to order parts
  4. Record warranty parts returned
  5. Create special ordered parts on the dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician, or client upon receipt
  6. Review special order parts tracking
  7. Process and close open invoices
  8. Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
  9. Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
  10. Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory
  11. Attend weekly department meetings

Education and Experience:

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of dealership warehouse experience, and excellent communication skills. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
