Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a travel nurse with PHP, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- 2 years of ICU RN experience
- Must have housing secured with acceptance
- ACLS, BLS, Stroke certs
- NIHSS required within first week at LKMC (facility will provide training)
