About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading staff and managing processes to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance.
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, and inventory management.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner.
- Understand financial reporting and analyze profit and loss statements to affect change and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager in talent acquisition efforts.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience.
- 1+ years of managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+million.
- 1+ years of affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
- 1+ years of supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
- Intermediate level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
