Position Overview:
Grace Primary Care - Huntsville, part of Summit Medical Group, is seeking a dedicated Facility Cleaner for a part-time role. This position requires working Monday through Friday during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in the reception area, waiting room, laboratory, examination rooms, restrooms, and offices on a daily basis.
- Empty waste receptacles and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Utilize approved cleaning agents to sanitize surfaces in waiting and examination areas.
- Conduct weekly dusting and cleaning of windowsills, doors, and baseboards throughout the facility.
- Thoroughly clean restrooms at least once each day, ensuring adequate supplies of toilet paper, towels, and soap.
- Sanitize and disinfect clinic spaces regularly.
- Wash walls, lighting fixtures, windows, mirrors, office equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Perform both dry and wet mopping of floors.
- Transport waste and soiled linens to designated areas and distribute fresh linens as needed.
- Keep cleaning equipment organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Identify and report any unsafe or unsanitary conditions to management.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in all interactions.
- Comply with the established corporate compliance plan.
- Engage in site-level Quality Improvement Activities, contributing to the ongoing assessment and enhancement of care quality.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Health Requirement: Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory.
Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare cleaning role is preferred.
