Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Therapy
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify speech and language disorders
    • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address identified needs
  • Consultation and Collaboration
    • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, and administrators to discuss student progress and develop strategies for supporting students with speech and language needs
    • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions
    • Provide regular progress reports to parents and administrators
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Current Maryland SLP license
  • Skills and Attributes
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Up-to-date knowledge of Maryland Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
