Job Summary

Noble Casing Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casing Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the activities of Service Technicians in the delivery of casing and tubing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the activities of Service Technicians to ensure efficient and safe delivery of casing and tubing services.
  • Maintain good communication with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts are loaded and available on the truck for jobs.
  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Comply with company rules and regulations, as well as industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Lead pre-job safety meetings with essential personnel to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate the job safety analysis process to identify potential hazards and implement controls.
  • Ultimately responsible for all aspects of job performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct training of Service Technicians as needed to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs and ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Communicate with the Company Man upon job site arrival and ensure that all necessary information is shared.
  • Communicate any directions given by the District Manager, Field Supervisor, or Company Man to team members.
  • Operate tongs and ensure that torque specs are correct to prevent damage to equipment or injury to personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the District Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience and 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Must be proficient in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and quality skills, with the ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to multi-task and work closely with fellow employees.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety and work standards, with the ability to delegate work effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Sedentary work, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
  • Light duty, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium duty, with lifting of up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy work, with lifting of up to 100 pounds and frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
Audio-Visual & Licensing Demands
  • Average vision, with the ability to see and read documents.
  • Average hearing, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Color discrimination, with the ability to distinguish between different colors.
  • Peripheral vision, with the ability to see objects and people around you.
  • Depth perception, with the ability to judge distances and avoid accidents.
  • Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
Work Environment
  • Chemicals, with the ability to work in a chemical environment.

  • Fumes/gases, with the ability to work in environments with fumes and gases.

Maneuverability

Driver Criteria

This is our preferred guideline for insured drivers. Individual exceptions may be considered to some degree.

Requiring Driver Exclusions:

  • One or more Type A Violation(s) in a 60-month period.
  • Two or more Type B Violation(s) in a 36-month period.
  • Three or more Type C Violation(s) in a 36-month period.
  • One Type B and two Type C Violations in a 36-month period.

Type of Violations Defined:

  • Type A: Includes but not limited to, DWI, DUI, OUI, refusing a substance test, and charges of reckless driving, manslaughter, hit & run, eluding police, any felony, drag racing, having or driving with a suspended license.
  • Type B: Includes all vehicle accidents regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Includes all moving violations not in Types A or B, such as speeding, improper lane change, failure to yield, running stop lights or signs.
  • Type D: Included non-moving violations, such as illegal parking, equipment violations, obstructing traffic, failure to display registration or driver's license.
