Job Summary
We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team in Reno, NV. As an Expeditor, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, expediting shipments, and working closely with the merchandising and warehouse teams. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive pay rate, benefits, and a wonderful company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order follow-up reports and open order reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Expedite orders on a daily basis to ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with merchandising and warehouse teams to schedule inbound freight.
- Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources.
- Proactively identify issues and work with merchandising, accounts payable, CRMs, and suppliers to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Communicate directly with suppliers and work with merchandiser and/or supplier on hot issues that need immediate response and resolution.
- Maintain a professional relationship with Ernest Packaging Solutions suppliers.
- Act as a liaison between merchandisers, customer service, and Sales Reps in regards to issues related to deliveries and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to take direction and work well under pressure.
- Flexible with strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Office.
- Able to plan and manage multiple projects.
- Related work experience in packaging and/or distribution a plus.
