The provision of patient care through the nursing process framework (evaluation, diagnosis, and patient outcomes) during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgical patients.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Clinical Services Supervisor

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Valid Registered Nurse License
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Exhibits comprehensive professional knowledge and skills in alignment with recognized nursing standards and departmental policies, including the Patient Bill of Rights and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluates the physiological and psychosocial health status of patients.
  • Conducts pain assessments in accordance with established policies.
