Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. As a Traveling Registered Nurse with Solutions by Sanford, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient education plans to promote health and wellness.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
