Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Professional to join our team at Intermountain Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing advanced-level respiratory care to patients, including diagnosing and treating cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
Key Qualifications
- Graduate of a NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program.
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT) and current license as Registered Respiratory Therapy in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Specific certifications as required (e.g. PALS, ACLS, NRP).
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced-level respiratory care to patients, including diagnosing and treating cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
- Oversee CRT staff, providing guidance and support in patient care.
- Conduct diagnostic testing procedures according to protocol, obtaining arterial gases and evaluating results.
- Administer medications in a timely and safe manner, ensuring accurate documentation of patient progress.
