About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Principal QA Architect to revolutionize automation platforms across our business units. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and oversee the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks, test data management frameworks, and internal tools used by development and test engineers.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  2. Take ownership of test infrastructure, including environments and software, collaborating with DevOps and Support teams on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native solutions.
  3. Monitor testing effectiveness and implement improvements through data-driven insights at all SDLC/STLC stages.
  4. Participate in tool analysis, create proof-of-concept models, and recommend tools for selection, ensuring they scale for hundreds of globally diverse team members.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry developments, process enhancements, and technology advancements to bring best practices in-house and improve testing solutions.
  6. Lead and mentor SDETs assigned to scrum teams, promoting code quality principles and collaboration among engineers.
  7. Collaborate with Release Management, Project Management, and Application Support teams for successful General Availability releases.
  8. Promote QA processes, practices, and standardization across various teams.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  2. 8+ years' experience working in a tech department as a QE or developer.
  3. 5+ years' hands-on experience designing automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source or low-code AI-driven solutions for large enterprise applications.
  4. Proven experience in test automation development, utilizing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Postman, along with web UI automation tools like Selenium/Cypress and REST/SOAP APIs.
  5. Strong developer with a breadth of knowledge up and down the technology stack, adhering to best software testing practices.
  6. Extensive experience with test case management tools like TestRail or Zephyr or Azure DevOps.
  7. Detailed knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills with analytical capabilities to support theories/solutions using underlying data.
  9. Prior Agile development experience, preferably in a CI/CD environment.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a group setting, providing transparency in test results.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Experience in the Healthcare domain is an asset.
  13. Proficiency in GenRocket, Datadog, or equivalent tools is beneficial.
