Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Process and enhance digital images utilizing advanced technology.
- Provide critical images and data analysis for diagnostic interpretation.
- Evaluate and ensure the quality of images for radiologist review.
- Conduct daily and quarterly quality control on imaging instruments.
- Maintain accurate records regarding radioactive materials and inventory.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:
- A degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Radiologic Technology program.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Certifications:
Required certifications include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT registration in Nuclear Medicine or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
Experience:
A minimum of one year in diagnostic radiology technology with training in nuclear medicine is preferred.
