We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Scheduler Supervisor to join our team at Kevin Worthington. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for providing scheduling and supervision of Personal Care Services, personal care providers, and homemakers.
Key Responsibilities- Orient new staff to our agency's policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Arrange and document training sessions to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills.
- Schedule staff and notify clients of changes, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Perform written assignments of duties on a client-specific basis, tailoring care to meet individual needs.
- Meet with staff as needed to provide guidance, education, and support.
- Receive and review referrals of clients, following up with them as necessary to ensure timely care.
- Perform initial assessment visits to client homes, assigning caregivers and completing assessment and open packet forms.
- Conduct supervisory visits to client homes, ensuring quality care and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Provide monthly supervision of client care, communicating with clients and families as needed.
- Investigate complaints and incidents, providing counseling and support to staff as needed.
- Communicate with case managers, physicians, and other providers to ensure effective care delivery.
- Oversee staff record-keeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Attend client care conferences, staff meetings, and agency committee meetings, promoting our core values and mission.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Personal Care Provider.
- Home Care supervisory experience is preferred.
- Completion of a nursing program is preferred.
- Valid, current driver's license.
- Access to a reliable automobile.
