Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients in the PICU, including medication administration, wound care, and life support equipment management.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, medical conditions, and treatment responses, documenting all observations and interventions in the patient's medical record.
- Develop and Implement Education Plans: Create and implement education plans for patients and their families, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
- Participate in Code Blue and Other Emergency Situations: Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrests, and participate in code blue drills and training.
- Maintain Accurate and Up-to-Date Records: Ensure that all patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes, are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Stay Current with Best Practices and Guidelines: Stay informed about the latest medical research, best practices, and guidelines in pediatric critical care, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure in good standing and a valid BLS and PALS certification.
- Experience: Minimum one year of current PICU hospital experience, with a strong background in pediatric critical care.
