About the RoleWe're seeking a versatile Producer/Editor who excels in fast-paced, innovative environments and is passionate about driving original content projects from concept to delivery. You'll collaborate closely with our world-class engineering team to develop solutions that scale nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Production: Create engaging news content for Haystack News' platform and beyond, including social media channels.
- Innovative Storytelling: Leverage new tools and methods, including AI-powered solutions, to create content more efficiently and effectively.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Take projects from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery despite limited resources.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and design teams to conceptualize and develop tools to enhance production capabilities.
- Adaptability: Experiment with and adopt emerging technologies and workflows to improve content creation.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Proven experience in producing and editing digital video content, particularly news or journalism-focused content, with expertise in at least one industry-standard video editing toolset.
- A passion for leveraging AI-powered solutions and experimenting with new tools to improve efficiency and redefine news video creation and distribution.
- Ability to think creatively and execute projects with limited resources, while maintaining strong organizational and time management skills.
