We're seeking a skilled OB/GYN Laborist to join our team at Optum NY. You'll have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work in a collaborative environment with talented peers.

Position Overview:
  • Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital
  • Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility
  • Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care
  • Excellent access to GYN-Oncology, Perinatology, and NICU physicians
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care for women in labor
  • Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Provide triage services for obstetric patients presenting with urgent or emergent conditions
  • Work closely with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective
  • Professionalism, systems-based practice, and community involvement
