We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at John George Psychiatric Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid California RN license.
- At least one year of experience as a Clinical Nurse I or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
We also welcome candidates with:
- Experience working in psychiatric nursing.
- Advanced life support certifications, such as ACLS or PALS.
- Specialized training in areas like chemotherapy or public health nursing.
